Why export your listing in BLM format?

BLM is the de-facto property data feed used across the United Kingdom. Estate agents, letting agents, landlords, developers, and marketers use it to move listing data between websites, CRMs, and portals without retyping every field.

A BLM file is a structured text feed. It typically includes an agent reference, sale or rent status, price, property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, address and postcode, summary, full description, EPC ratings, and media. Many systems also accept a ZIP that pairs the .blm file with listing photographs.

What problems does a BLM export solve?

  • Do you need the same advert on more than one site?

Export once and import the feed wherever BLM is supported, instead of copying title, price, and photos by hand.

  • Is your CRM missing a BLM download?

Smaller agencies and private landlords often have a live advert but no bulk export. A URL-to-BLM conversion fills that gap for a single listing.

  • Are you migrating to new property software?

Most UK estate agency platforms, WordPress property plugins, and custom portals can ingest a standard BLM feed to create or update adverts.

  • Do you want fewer copy-paste errors?

Prices, postcodes, bedroom counts, and descriptions stay aligned when you reuse one structured file instead of rewriting the advert on every website.

Typical BLM fields include AGENT_REF, transaction type (sale or rent), price, property type, tenure, furnished status, room counts, address lines, town, postcode, summary, description, EPC current and potential, brochure URLs, virtual tour URLs, and numbered media image columns. Software that “supports BLM import” reads this layout and maps it into its own listing form.

Use this converter when you already have the right to the listing (you are the owner or an authorised agent). Paste one public listing page, check the preview, then download the ZIP. You remain responsible for the destination site’s import rules and for only converting adverts you are allowed to reuse.

UK property directory

The converter turns one listing URL into a BLM file. Next to it sits our UK real estate directory: a reviewed list of property websites — estate and letting agencies, housebuilders, listing sites, and related services such as solicitors, surveyors, and removals.

Use it when you need to find an agency, a developer, or another property firm online. Every suggestion is checked before it is published. If you run a property website, you can ask to be listed.

Use your BLM file on property websites

A standard BLM export is not tied to a single brand. Once you have the file, you can import a property advert into many UK listing sites, agency websites, and software tools that accept a BLM feed or a ZIP containing BLM plus images.

Agents often syndicate the same sale or rental to several channels: national listing sites, local directories, WordPress property sites, and in-house CRMs. The destinations below are generic types of site that commonly accept a BLM import — not a list of partners.

Where a BLM file is commonly used

  • UK listing websites
  • Estate agency websites
  • Letting agency websites
  • Property CRM software
  • WordPress property sites
  • Local listing directories
  • In-house property websites

Compatibility depends on each platform’s import tools and file dialect. This site generates a generic BLM/ZIP for you to download.
